RiA Magazine surpasses 1,000,000 views!
The Regeneration in ACTION (RiA) Magazine officially reached the historic one million-view milestone on August 14, 2026. More than a numerical achievement for a niche online publication, the milestone substantiates the published article collection as a prominent global resource for regenerative intelligence and independent environmental journalism. Readership growth reflects a dramatic acceleration: while the leap from 750,000 to 850,000 views spanned eight months, the next 100,000 views to 950,000 required four months, and the latest surge to surpass 1.1 million cumulative views was achieved in just two months on October 14. The compounding momentum anchors a digital footprint reaching international audiences across Ei's core focus areas: Water Security, the Earth's Digestive System, and Visual Advocacy.
The RiA Magazine's sister publication The IMPACT continues to garner significant readership momentum with several articles published quarterly; current cumulative views are at 340K views with 13K views over the past thirty days. The feature article, Celebrating One Million Views: A Milestone for Regeneration in ACTION Magazine, documents the historic journey and details the continued acceleration of digital readership.

Water is not an infinite utility; it is the finite, vital infrastructure of the living world. Protecting hydrological cycles requires an immediate, systemic shift from short-term resource management to deep ecological awareness, ensuring that freshwater systems remain resilient against intensifying planetary shifts.

Water Consciousness
Freshwater is a fundamental requirement for all land-based life and serves as the primary solvent for nutrient transport systems across every biological kingdom.
Although water covers much of the globe, it remains a strictly finite resource while modern human systems continue to treat it as an unlimited commodity. With only 1% of total global water existing as fresh water available to support land-based life, protecting these vital hydrological cycles is an absolute imperative.
From the microscopic soil fungi that drive the Earth's Digestive System to the complex vascular systems of the plant and animal kingdoms, fresh water is a non-negotiable medium of existence.
While global economic frameworks treat water as an endless utility, the featured article, Water Consciousness: Bridging Ecological Mechanics and Human Perception, highlights how shifting humanity's mindset toward deep ecological awareness is essential for protecting vital water supplies and sustaining life on Earth.

From Glacial Retreat to Global Resilience
Published within a week of the catastrophic glacial event in Nepal, the RiA Magazine article, From Glacial Retreat to Global Resilience: Navigating Planetary Shifts and Building Stronger Communities, examines the cascading impacts of receding glaciers across the globe's 200,000 mountain ice masses. As natural storage tanks supporting more than two billion people with freshwater, food security, and livelihoods, their rapid retreat underscores the urgent necessity of fostering local hydrological resilience.

The Foundation of Regeneration
Introduced in the spring newsletter, the Earth's Digestive System (EDS) framework maps the complex microbial and macro-level interactions driving planetary vitality. The initiative continues to expand with new publications and media releases exploring subterranean economies and planetary metabolism.

Fungi: Networks of Life
Defined by unique cellular structures and nutritional habits, fungi occupy a distinct biological kingdom entirely separate from plants and animals. From underground threads feeding the soil sponge to deep marine cycles, fungi serve as the master architects of the Earth's Digestive System.
Fungi hold ecosystems together, enable plant communication, and drive the subterranean economy. Yet, chemical applications, pollution, and industrial practices constantly disrupt these ancient networks. The featured article, Networks of Life: Fungi, Soil Health, and Innovations for a Regenerative Future, explores how restoring and protecting these vital biological networks is essential for advancing a truly regenerative future.

The Art of Witnessing
Photography bridges the gap between scientific observation and emotional resonance and transforms complex ecological data into compelling visual narratives. The medium serves as a vital instrument for environmental communication that empowers audiences to connect deeply with the intricate mechanics of living systems.
The RiA Magazine article, The Art of Witnessing: the Visual Advocacy of Earth Impact, explores how intentional photography and photojournalism inspire active stewardship for regenerative futures.

Cinematic Films
Expanding the boundaries of visual advocacy, Ei transitions from still photography into motion media that captures the dynamic rhythms of the living world. Moving images provide an immersive medium that translates complex ecological principles and subterranean soil mechanics into compelling narratives.
The IMPACT article, The Cinematic Evolution of Earth Impact's Visual Advocacy, explores how short film series bring regenerative practices to life, foster deep emotional connections, and inspire broader environmental stewardship.

Ei Advisor Bob Bunting
Ei Advisor Bob Bunting, Climate Adaptation Center CEO, is a valuable contributor at Ei-sponsored events.
In September 2025, Bob was the lead speaker at the Resiliency around the Globe: Local Responses to Hurricanes, Sea Rise and Sudden Flooding global webinar. The RiA Magazine article, Extreme Weather is HERE: important to align with nature for climate adaptation and resiliency, showcases Bob's Florida’s Trifecta & The Path to Adaptation presentation; Bob's PPT presentation is available for download in the article. At the Land Economics Dialogues morning session in February 2026, Bob closed out the formal program with his The Triple Threat: Navigating Sarasota’s Climate Ground Zero presentation. The RiA Magazine article, Water Challenges, Economics, and Nature-Based Solutions, gives an overview of Bob's session along with a full-length video of his presentation. Bob's PPT presentation is available for download in the article.
